Keanu Reeves was 'breathtaking' at XBox's E3 event

Square Enix has a lot of franchises under its belt, which means there’s a lot they could be announcing during their 2019 E3 presentation.

Square’s presentation starts on June 10 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET and the company has already confirmed some of the games they’ll be talking about. Speculation and past reveals tell us what other games they’ll likely be showing off during the expo.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE
Sony revealed a new trailer for the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake during the May State of Play stream, which said more information would come in June. Ahead of E3 2019, Square Enix also announced a release date for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. We’ll likely get more details on the gameplay, music, and maybe even a trailer that shows something beyond the first part of the game.

FINAL FANTASY 14: SHADOWBRINGERS
Final Fantasy 14’s next expansion releases on July 2 and Square Enix has opened the flood gates for information regarding it. While a bulk of the information regarding job changes and some of the story features have already been revealed, the last Letter from the Producer stream had Naoki Yoshida promising more information to come during E3.

MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS
The Marvel Twitter account announced recently that that Square Enix’s E3 press briefing would reveal more details about the upcoming game. Originally announced in January 2017, not much is known about the game other than that it’ll be developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal.

DYING LIGHT 2
The sequel to the horror survival game will be featured in Square’s E3 conference, according to a tweet from the company. The game was originally announced during Microsoft’s E3 presentation last year.

BABYLON’S FALL
Babylon’s Fall was announced in Square Enix’s 2018 press conference. It’s being developed in partnership with PlatinumGames. Not much about this game has been said outside of its trailer release last year, though it does have a 2019 release date, so we’re bound to get more information on it this year.

Tokyo RPG Factory and Square Enix are coming together to create Oninaki, a game revealed during February’s Nintendo Direct. The game features a character who travels between the world of life and death, saving lost souls. Oninaki is slated to launch this summer.

SECRET OF MANA
Earlier this year, a license popped up for a new Secret of Mana title. While this isn’t too much to work off of, this could mean that a new installment of the series is going to be talked about during Square Enix’s E3 conference.

DRAGON QUEST 11 S: ECHOES OF AN ELUSIVE AGE — DEFINITIVE EDITION
We already know most of the information about this game, as it’s a port with some additions, like character-specific stories. Hopefully Square Enix’s E3 presentation can give us an exact release date.

A NEW NIER GAME?
Neither Square Enix nor Nier: Automata director Yoko Taro have formally announced anything regarding a new Nier game, but the company was hiring staff for Nier in 2017. A new Nier game could be on the horizon and it would definitely be a pleasant surprise to see at E3.
